Carter Craft

New York Metropolitan Waterfront Alliance

People would be surprised if they knew what about Carter Craft?

What I’d like to say: that I went to 80+ Grateful Dead concerts and didn’t lose my mind (completely)

What I should say: that I was an Eagle Scout

If you had a free day, how would you spend it?

Hop on our 1971 Schwinn Tandem and ride to Coney Island with my wife.

Your proudest moment?

Haven’t had it yet. Pride gets in the way more than it helps.

How would you like to be remembered?

As someone who cared.

Your pet peeve?

Microsoft.

Your hobby?

Cycling, Photography. Combining the two.

Your favorite book?

Up in the Old Hotel, by Joseph Mitchell

Your favorite film?

Mulholland Drive, by David Lynch

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

More patience, dammit!

If you could invite four people to dinner living or dead, who would they be?

Giovanni da Verrazano, FDR, Martin Luther King, Jr., and Lance Armstrong. Verrazano would probably have to cook, since I’m not very good at it.
