Japanese Tall Ship is Coming

Nippon Maru II Arrives in July

Tour the Largest Tall Ship FREE!!

 

The Nippon Maru II, one of the largest tall ships in the world, is arriving from Tokoyo in July. She will sail into San Francisco Bay during her Pacific training voyage, and be in Port from July11-17. This beautiful 361-foot Japanese tall ship is a four-masted barque, has 36 sails, and carries 170 crewmembers, 23 officers, and 103 cadets. San Francisco is her main port of call on the West Coast, after visiting Hilo and Honolulu on her Pacific Ocean crossing.

Free public tours will be available every 30 minutes while she is in the Port of San Francisco. No reservations are needed, but tours are subject to weather. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to experience a maritime tradition!
