Introducing the World Trade Club

San Francisco’s Premier Business Club

Since its opening in April of 1960, the World Trade Club of San Francisco has well served its declared purpose and has become known throughout the world as one of the most prestigious organizations of its kind, dedicated to serving the welfare and best interests of the international business community.

The Club’s headquarters are located in the heart of San Francisco, behind the historic Ferry Building, with panoramic views of the San Francisco/Oakland Bay Bridge, Treasure Island, Coit Tower, and the city skyline. The Club has been the setting for receptions of royalty and heads of state, foreign trade missions, and leaders in business and industry from the four corners of the world.

More than 1,000 men and women business leaders in the Bay Area and Northern California comprise the basic membership of the Club. Additionally, there are many nonresident members throughout the United States and overseas. Members of the Consular Corps in the Bay Area hold honorary memberships, and the international flavor is maintained by the Club’s membership administration policy which gives preference to applicants whose business relates to foreign trade and travel.

The World Trade Club remodeling is complete and the Club is back in full operation. The Club offers a combination of ten unique private meeting rooms, which can accommodate from 2 to 350 members and guests. The Club is equipped to assist you with any audio-visual requirements you may require. Meeting rooms have state-of-the-art audio/visual access. The Club works with many florists and designers to arrange distinctive settings for events. Other special services, such as photography, entertainment, limousine service, valet parking, artistic food carvings, and ice sculptures, can be arranged

The Club offers a variety of benefits to its members, including Roundtable Lunches, Travel Nights, Domino Tournaments, International Achievement Awards, Gourmet Cuisine, Elegant Dining Room, Online Reservations, Friendly Bar, Guest Cards, and much more.

Another benefit of membership is reciprocal club privileges throughout the world. The list of clubs is constantly being expanded and currently stands at over 100. Some of the most popular are the Sky Club in New York, the Mid-American Club in Chicago, the American Club in Hong Kong, and the Tokyo American Club in Japan.
