Smithsonian American Art Museum showing 60 paintings,
sculptures, and photographs, including 11 by California artists.
Spans more than 200 years of Latino art from across the United

the Jack London Square ferry stop.
1/7-10/03 Mac World Conference & Expo
Moscone Center’s big show of the king of education, graphic, and
music computers. 60,000 are expected.
1/11/03 East West Shrine Game – College All
Stars Great game at an affordable price. Tickets start at $15
with a family pack for $50 for 4 tickets, 4 cokes, 4 hot dogs, and a
souvenir. Six Heisman trophy candidates are just the snowcap on the
mountain of accolades college senior players from 56 colleges and 26
states plus Canada bring to the playing field at 11a.m. PST.
Broadcast on ESPN. Amtrak will not be running but the ferries and
BART will. Proceeds support 22 Childrens’ Hospitals. Donations and

featuring the Challenge of the Masters A two-day event including
a cook’s marketplace, cooking demonstrations, competitions, food
and wine tasting, arts and craft displays, children’s activities,
educational programs, live entertainment, and fresh seafood and
wines by the case. Challenge of the Masters is a crab-themed
competition with professional chefs competing. A twist is that
available ingredients will be revealed only as the competition
