SF Bay Team Wins Round 1 of
Pre-America’s Cup – Moet Regatta
US Challenger of record from
San Francisco faced off with Alinghi of Switzerland on San
Francisco Bay waters September 15th – 20th. Alinghi’s
owner Ernesto Bartellini brought Russel Couts and Murray
Jones, the Kiwi’s he formed his team around, plus his
winning boats and crew to San Francisco to race against
Oracle, the Challenger of record for the next America’s Cup
sponsored by Golden Gate Yacht Club. In the "Moet
