San Francisco get into a tug-of-war? Go to Article |

The long fight to
bring comprehensive regional ferry service to the Bay Area is at a
critical point. We need your help.
SB 916, the bill
that would allow Bay Area voters to decide whether to raise bridge
tolls to $3, has been passed by the Legislature. As we go to press,
the bill sits on Governor Gray Davis’ desk awaiting signature.
The spending plan
in SB 916 provides for ferries and it is crucial that you
contact Governor Davis and tell him you want the bill signed. Here’s
how to do it:
Email
governor@governor.ca.gov or call 916-445-2841
Do it today!
Thank
you.
