How to find Relief?

April 24th, 7:30pm at the Regency Center in San Francisco – Be there!

Don’t miss the chance to see and meet your favorite sailors out of foulies (foul weather gear). This is THE Bay Area’s Opening Day on the Bay kick-off event to celebrate community sailing. Fund-raising benefits Treasure Island Sailing Center. The gala event will be held at the Regency Center in San Francisco on Saturday, April 24th at 7:30 p.m. There is a fully-hosted bar sponsored by: Beaulieu Vineyards, Captain Morgan, and Red Stripe, and a full array of choices provided by Diageo throughout the night. Double Funk Crunch will provide live music, playing dance hits from the ’70s through today. A silent auction will offer such items as trips, sails, sailing gear, artwork, and much, much more! If tickets are purchased prior to April 7, 2004, $15 will be discounted off the normal $125 ticket price. Sutter Place Parking is even providing a flat rate of $10 for parking for those with tickets or invitations.

This is the second annual event. Last year, the inaugural event drew 300 revelers, including many of the Bay Area’s internationally respected elite sailing crowd. The event raised much needed funds for the Treasure Island education for youth, adaptive programs and youth, high school and college racing sailing center. Paul Cayard and John Kosteci were among the many rock star sailors who attended and had a wonderful time. The 2004 Sailor’s Ball is a “FunRaiser” not to miss!

Many thanks to all the sponsors for supporting TISC and community sailing! Event sponsors include: West Marine, Quantum Sail Design Group, Bitter End Yacht Club, The Ligature, Streamlinevents, and Sail America-Pacific Sail Expo. Treasure Island Sailing Center is a volunteer operated 501(c)3 nonprofit foundation. Interested in volunteer or sponsorship opportunities? Contact Julia Cashin at julia.cashin@tisailing.org.
