Taste of Oakland-Sumptuous Success

The Taste of Oakland was a downtown event. A truly diverse group of restaurants were joined by local bakeries and catering companies. For libations, Rosenblum Winery, Brothers and Pacific Breweries, Shakers American Vodka, and Wyders Hard Cider kept glasses full. Music flowed, keeping the crowd moving around the tables and displays of many local businesses and recreational services. The Hispanic, Chinese, and Oakland Chambers of Commerce also had tables present. The successful event was coordinated by Manette Belliveau, Executive Director, Oakland Convention & Visitors Bureau, and Dianne Newton-Shaw of AVISO, Inc.
