On Sunday, May 4th, the Ferry Plaza Farmers’ Market will open a Sunday Garden Market, offering an assortment of plants and gardening supplies for the Bay Area urban gardener. The Sunday Garden Market will feature 15-20 small, local nurseries that practice sustainable horticulture, and will sell everything for the gardening enthusiast–indoor plants, annuals, perennials, roses, trees, shrubs, herbs, vegetable starts, and succulents. Inaugural vendors at the new market include California Carnivores (carnivorous plants) and Momiji Nursery (Japanese maples).

The Sunday Garden Market will also offer weekly gardening classes and demonstrations for gardeners of all skill levels, and will highlight urban applications of organic gardening methods in Bay Area climate zones. Shoppers will also find a handful of fruit and vegetable farmers and a few artisan vendors.

Tuesdays: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Thursdays: 3 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Saturdays: 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Sunday Garden Market 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. (starting May 4th)
