Peanut Butter Jam Celebrates Webster Street

The second annual Peanut Butter Jam Festival is set for Saturday, September 6, 2003, 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. Live bands will perform Dixieland jazz, Latin, bluegrass, oldies, pop and rock music all day from two stages. The street will be lined with antique, arts and crafts booths, and the international food for which Webster Street is becoming known will be served all day, along with premium beer and wine from some of California’s best breweries and vintners. There will be a children’s area with special games and entertainment especially for kids.

The festival is produced by the West Alameda Business Association with major funding from Alameda Power and Telecom. The event is free and takes place on Webster Street, from Lincoln to Central, in the "Isle of Style."
