September 6-7 31ST ANNUAL ART & WINE FESTIVAL in Mountain View. An outdoor festival featuring the latest handcrafted work by 650 artists, two days of great music, incredible edibles from around the globe. October 4 CONSORZIO CAL-ITALIA WINE AND FOOD TASTING San Francisco. This seventh annual edition, held at the Festival Pavilion at Fort Mason, boasts more than 200 Cal-Italian wines. Samples offered by Bay Area food purveyors will provide the opportunity to pair the wines with a great array of olive oils, cheeses, salamis, biscotti, and sorbetti. One hundred percent of the proceeds from a silent auction of wine and other goodies will enefit Hands On San Francisco, which recruits and trains volunteers and connects them with community service projects. www.cal-italia.org
