SAIL SAN FRANCISCO! 2005 showcases the largest gathering of tall ships on the San Francisco Bay since their highly successful International Maritime Festival in 2002. This year's event opens with a visually spectacular array of international and local ships taking part in the PARADE OF SAIL along San Francisco's waterfront on July 28.

SAIL SAN FRANCISCO! 2005 showcases the largest gathering of tall ships on the San Francisco Bay since their highly successful International Maritime Festival in 2002. This year's event opens with a visually spectacular array of international and local ships taking part in the PARADE OF SAIL along San Francisco's waterfront on July 28.
The non-profit Pacific Rim Foundation will play host to sailing vessels from around the world and the USA including Russia's 356' PALLADA. Multicultural music and dance events will be presented as part of the event and several of the ships will welcome visitors aboard for guided tours. For the more adventurous there will be opportunities to sail aboard some of the ships.
