OCTOBER 27 – 30, 2005

The Ferry Building Marketplace celebrates its third annual Harvest Festival with a range of free events including: Pumpkin Carving, Butter Churning, Apple Pressing, Face Painting, Live Blue Grass Music and a Barnyard by the Bay.

On Thursday, October 27, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., all are invited to a Sustainable Wine tasting, which benefits the Center for Urban Education About Sustainable Agriculture (CUESA), the sponsor of the beloved Ferry Plaza Farmers Market.

Throughout the weekend, Marketplace merchants will be offering a delightful abundance of special fare, tastings and demonstrations. The Marketplace will be filled with autumnal offerings from farms and merchants, along with musicians serenading shoppers, as they take in the abundant atmosphere.

On Sunday, October 30, along the Embarcadero, the Ferry Building will host a Barnyard by the Bay petting zoo, face painting, olive oil tasting, Blue Grass Music and the Sunday Ferry Plaza Farmers Market.
