The boating community has a unique and very colorful way of doing its part during this season of celebration. They adorn their boats with lights, decorations, costumed people and pets, and go on parade. This year, there are four lighted boat parades in the Bay Area: Oakland/Alameda on December 6; San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf on December 12; and Sausalito and San Rafael, both on December 13.
