The Bay Area’s environmental community has expressed alarm at the prospect of a Donald Trump presidency. Among the items that have activists concerned are his repeated remarks about abolishing the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as a budget-cutting method. Trump has called the EPA a “disgrace” and has said that possibly only “a little” of the environment should be left over after businesses do their work.
