» Deck structures will be complete. Most of the architectural topping slab (colored concrete "floating slab" on top of the deck) will also be complete.

» Architectural finish detailing will begin and will include the completion of much of the ornamental rail and lighting around the perimeter of the deck.

» Portal construction (including steel framework and granite panels with stainless steel roofing and canopy) will be underway.

» Offshore, in the "southern basin area", construction will begin on a breakwater, which will protect the south terminal berthing area. (The north terminal is already protected by the existing structures).

» Off site in Sacramento, design and construction will commence on the float and ramps. They will float (no pun intended) down the Sacramento River when they are complete (south float in November, north in December).
