The boating community has a unique and very colorful way of doing its part during this season of celebration. Boat owners adorn their vessels with lights, decorations, costumed people and pets, and go on parade. There are at least five lighted boat parades in the Bay Area during the holidays. The parades can be enjoyed by the public from vantage points along the shoreline. For more details, see page 12.
