San Francisco’s Embarcadero Center, located on the waterfront in the heart of the city’s Financial District, in conjunction with SFJAZZ, will be showcasing the Embarcadero Center Summer Jazz Series, a series of free noontime jazz concerts from August 9 through September 27,2001.
The Embarcadero Center Summer Jazz Series will feature local, world-class artists, ranging from contemporary jazz and blues to swing and standards, every Thursday from Noon -1: 30 p.m. Performances will be staged on the Promenade Level of the Embarcadero Center (between Davis and Front streets and Clay and Sacramento streets).
Embarcadero Center is a contemporary five-building complex of offices, 125 shops and fine restaurants, movie theater, two hotels, and Justin Herman Plaza.
