Port of Oakland at Jack London Square, celebrating it’s 15th year, the Northern California Spring Boat Show, now called Pacific Powerboat Expo, is the premier ‘in the water’ yacht show for Northern California. Over 100 yachts to 75 feet and 200 trailer boats on land make this an event for all recreational boating enthusiasts. Additionally, fishing seminars presented by Fishing U offer ‘pro guide’ instruction on salt water & fresh water techniques as well as casting contests for kids add an interactive element to your boat show experience. DIY Boating Magazine will also offer seminars on topics like doing routine boat maintenance (ie: restoring boat finishes, installing hardware, engine and equipment maintenance and choosing the right products for the job). Whether it’s a salt water fishing boat, a Delta cruising boat, ski or wakeboard boat for family fun, houseboat for that second vacation home, or a world class cruising yacht, the ‘in the water’ boat show has something for every avid boater. If there is already a boat in your life, the array of after market products and services will make boating shopping easy. Freeway access to the event is convenient as well as public transportation. Jack London Square offers many fine restaurants and shopping on site. The show runs April 22-25, 10am to 6pm daily.
