Saturday, May 22, 2004, KFOG radio station is again presenting “Kaboom.” The day includes music and food on Piers 32-34 as well as evening fireworks. It’s better than July 4th with simulcast music and usually little to none of the chilly white kind of fog. Piers 32-34 will be loaded with white tents for beer and food and always lots of fun for all.

As evening falls, the waterways will fill with hundreds of boats of all shapes and sizes from the Hornblower’s San Francisco Belle that holds 6,000 people, to ferries, power, and sailboats. Charter yachts operated by Compass Rose, Signature Yachts, and Celebrations on the Bay offer ways to see and hear the show from the water. Celebrations offers a buffet dinner, music, and dancing. Boarding begins at 7:30 PM for just $60 per person, by advance reservation only.

The KaBoom event gets boaters out on the water and brings people from all around the greater Bay Area to the San Francisco shoreline at the base of the Bay Bridge for the “Really Big Shu.” It’s a blast!
