Goodbye Chieftain

Ian MacIntyre is selling his popular and financially successful charter, educational operation, and classic tall ship. The Hawaiian Chieftain has defended our San Francisco Bay waters under Captain Ian’s guidance for 12 years. She has been the shipboard classroom for thousands of children and provided outings of unforgettable fun for even more adults. The Chieftain is not booking any youth programs after the 4th of July to avoid disappointing any kids who would normally be signing up for youth camps. The Chieftain is keeping her calendar clear for a new owner to choose her course.
Ian has developed a well-deserved reputation as a consultant to the film industry for handling tall ships. For example, he worked for three months in the Caribbean during the filming of the Pirates of the Caribbean, among other projects. As a new dad, Ian is ready for a few changes. We wish our favorite Tall Ship Captain fair winds and smooth waters.

The Chieftain as a boat and business is offered for $800,000. For more information, contact Ian or his staff at (415) 331-3214.
